This is an entry-by-donation call for scores. The purposes of this endeavour are:
To raise money for Palestinian families trapped in Gaza facing starvation due to soaring food costs and Israel’s blockade. This round is fundraising for Maryam and her family. Maryam is mother of four children, one born during the genocide. They yearn to go back to school, but need more funds to do so.
To support contemporary composers for the piano by recording new piano works.
Any composer can enter! DEADLINE: Midnight March 15 2026 AEST.
How to enter:
Submit an original piano piece of up around 6-10 minutes. I will select a piece and I will make a recording of it with good quality mics and multiple video angles, send it to you, and post it to my YouTube channel. You will also have full freedom to use the recording as you wish.

Difficulty guideline: please be reasonable so that I can make good recordings for you. The pieces can of course contain technical difficulties; I am an accomplished pianist. However, for this project, I’m not looking for etudes or virtuoso showpieces.
Stylistic guideline: no specific stylistic guidelines, but I will note: I am able to improvise, and I tend to avoid Stockhausen.
Anonymity: please remove your name from the score submission.
One donation of 20 USD = one submission. A separate donation should be made for each submission if you want to submit multiple pieces.
